The Jordan River Modelport

The Second Annual All Electric Funfly is here again!
Date: Saturday, June 23rd
Place: Jordan River Modelport, inside the Jordan River OHV park, Exit 25 off I-215
Time: 8:00 AM until 6PM
Parking Fee: $5 per vehicle
Pilot Registration: $15, includes parking and a free lunch.

All electric flyers are invited to come and join us. AMA card is required. Please download and print a flyer to post in your local hobby shop or hand out to friends who like R/C aircraft.

Maintenance?

I watched the "At Your Leisure" show with the clubbies on it (WTG, all!) and noticed that, wow, the runway sure is scrubby and weedy. When are we getting together as a club to whack the weeds on the runway and maybe tar the cracks or something?

The model port is in fairly bad shape. The cracks are huge, the weeds are growing up through the cracks. The runway is fairly bad (funny, our dirt runway is basically better now).

I flew my very non-electric SPAD at the modelport last night and the runway was clear of grass and looked good. The cracks were another story...
