My name is Shawn. Im new to the hobby and looking forward to alot of enjoyment from it. I have met a few of the UTE members and decided this would be a great club to join. I met Steve W. at the New Years fun fly at the Jordan Model port and what a great guy. He was very informative and helpful to a new guy who had never flown. I do have my AMA membership and have a printed copy of the club membership form. I have not run across any UTE members to pay the dues and such. It says you would prefer to meet the person rather than just have the membership dues mailed in. I have no problem with that. I would enjoy meeting more of the members in person anyway. What is a good time to meet at the club field to get access and pay the dues? For the time being im only available to fly on sundays due to work schedule. Im in need of an instructor as well. I have found it difficult to find help at the Jordan Model Port as everyone seems to busy to be bothered. I work nights, so im unavailable to take advantage of the wednesday night training you offer at the Jordan Model Port also. I do have my own planes and equipment, so an instructor and some new friends are what im looking for.
Hope to get out flying soon and become a UTE.

I read you when it comes to working nights... I worked nights my first two years in the club. It does make it a bit more difficult to attend meetings if that is the middle of your sleep schedule!
You can mail your membership to the Club Treasurer. Usually, we just give you your key and membership card in person, but if you need it mailed back to you, please include this instruction in your mail to the Treasurer.
