Remember this Saturday is our float fly at Lincon beach.... see ah there.
Float Fly
I'm gonna miss it as well,
I'm gonna miss it as well, and I had really wanted to go. My wife is having her galbladder (probably spelled wrong) removed Friday, and that leaves me in charge of my youngest (22 month old) so I am home bound. good luck to all.
DON'T FORGET THE BUG SPRAY ! ! !
A friend tells me the bugs are as bad as it gets right now. I can tell you from the club field, when the wind goes down the bugs are thick!
7 bites
I was instructing at the club field on Wednesday night, and got 7 mosquito bites. Definitely bring the bug spray. One of the bites itched so bad in the middle of the night last night it woke me up!
SPAD seaplane
Thanks for the warning about the bugs. I've been working desperately every night this week to finish the new seaplane in time for the fun fly. I'll be there for sure, hopefully with a new plane.
Bugs
There ain't no bugs on me, there might be bugs on some of you mugs, but there ain't no bugs on me. The float fly was about as perfect as it gets. No bugs, and almost perfect weather. We had quite the feed also, thanks to everyone. Only one casualty that I remember was A.J.'s Lanier Seaplane that lost radio and had an untimely demise by going straight down to a watery demise. There was also a lot of Cub's on floats. Another succesful float fly, thanks to all.

Gonna miss it, alas
Gotta miss this one myself, have work to do on a rental property that can't wait. Hope you guys have a great time, and I'll be out at the Ute field Sunday morning!
