Walt Staff...

Some old timers in the hobby of miniature aircraft building and flying may
remember Walt Staff. Walt was one of my instructors for the hobby in the
late 60s. The following may be interesting to most what with the 75th
anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. As I understand the history,
Walt was one of two of the last to be recovered from the bowels of the USS
Oklahoma on this day.
Walt died in April 1995 and is interred at the Camp Williams Military

Hi Fellow Flyers

Well it finally has happened, we are going to have a new place to fly with a real nice paved runway. I know we have waited a long time to see this come to fruition but, next Wednesday Nov. 2nd at 3:30 the Model port will officially open to the Public. As a show of support we would like to see as many aero modelers at the grand opening as possible. We would like to have a WOW factor static display, so brush aside all those foamy's and nock of the dust on those hanger queans.
